City Hotels Limited owns and operates three full-service hotels in Newfoundland and New Brunswick. We are also the proud home of PJ Billington’s restaurants. Due to continuing growth in our food service operations, we are creating new leadership positions at Marystown Hotel & Convention Centre.
CHEF/KITCHEN MANAGER
As a key member of the management team of the hotel, you will ensure the highest standards of quality, consistency and presentation for the food served in our restaurant and banquet facilities. You will be responsible for all aspects of managing the kitchen operations of the hotel staffing, scheduling, purchasing, food cost control and administration. Through leadership by example, you will motivate all food services staff to achieve the highest standards of quality and service.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will administer the quality assurance program developed for all PJ Billington¹s restaurants. You will also actively participate in the development of new recipes, menus and programs.
To succeed in this role you will require exceptional culinary skills, proven leadership ability and a desire to be part of exciting changes in a dynamic industry.
