We are now actively recruiting teachers who have a minimum of one years teaching experience, preferably at primary school level. In addition teachers with experience of SEN education are highly sought.
The Brief:
English Language Teacher Professionals & Consultants are urgently required to improve the English language and literacy teaching in Malaysian government state schools. The English Language vacancies will be based in state schools and will work with circa 85 local Malaysian teachers in Schools in groups of 14 schools to nurture teacher development / improvement programmes, and to upgrade teachers overall proficiency and their English teaching ability. A major part of this very exciting project is to act as an on-site resource and to advise all School employee’s of best international practices of English teaching inside and outside the classroom.
All applicants for these roles should be experienced in the following areas:
• Teaching English
• TEFL certified + minimum of 110 hours of classroom teaching —- A MUST
• English Native Tongue Standard —- A MUST
• Qualified Teacher with specific other skills ie P.E, Math, Science, Learning Disabilities highly sought
o ESOL qualification such as TESOL, CELTA
o Full Driving Licence is required, as you will receive a expensed company car…
Teachers are expected to:
• Deliver a programme of Teacher Professional Development sessions for Malaysian teachers of English
• Improve the methodology and style of instruction in English teaching
• Support, coach, and mentor Malaysian teachers of English in their classes
• Manage school visits
• Provide selections of one-on-one support
• Formal on-going observations
• Training & mentoring
• Coaching & co-teaching
Remuneration / Package:
• Basic Salary range from
o €20,000 / €43,000 – please note that there are 4 levels of job responsibilities on offer (offers for each level will be made at interview stage)
o English Language Professional €20,000 + car, phone , Living allowance and 25% bonus
o English Language Teaching Consultant €29,000 + car, phone, Living allowance and 25% bonus
o Zone Director €43,000 + car, phone, living allowance and 25% bonus
o Teaching Fellow €43,000 + car, phone, living allowance and 25% bonus
• Phenomenal yearly bonus @ 25% of basic (subject to targets being met)
