We currently require Business Management Consultants with business planning, marketing planning and strategy experience to join Scottish Government funded projects abroad.
Project Summaries:
Sri Lanka Enterprise Development (SLED) aims to provide consultancy services to MSMEs, especially in remote rural areas. SLED helps to develop a sustainable programme of training and mentoring aimed at creating and expanding a pool of qualified business consultants capable of delivering a range of services tailored to the needs of Sri Lankan MSMEs.
Capacity Building for Enterprise (Malawi) – Sustainability Phase (CBE II) is an extension of a previous Scottish Government funded project. It expands an indigenous training and mentoring programme from the previous project and assists the set up and development of a reputable, indigenous consultancy assisting in building the capacity of MSMEs.
Job Description:
Successful applicants will spend up to 3 months in country working on the following tasks:
• Providing on the job training and mentoring to local staff/trainees
• Assist small and medium enterprises to develop realistic business review plans
• Providing direct mentoring to assist clients in developing requisite skills such as financial reporting and marketing.
Challenges Worldwide provides return flights, insurance, a contribution towards inoculation and in-country accommodation and transport. There is also a daily stipend for meals and subsistence, which makes it the ideal opportunity for experienced individuals to utilise their management skills in a new stimulating environment.
Assignments are generally for 3 months, with rolling start dates throughout the year, starting immediately.
