Our
client, a well known iconic company producing quality household goods have an
excellent opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their
growing engineering group based in Central NSW.
Reporting
to the Group Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the development,
management & execution of a raft of your own green & brown field
projects as well as overseeing various engin

eering projects developed &
undertaken by the other members within the engineering group.

Main
Duties and responsibilities;
  • Maintaining
    all financial & scheduling aspects of works to ensure allocated
    budgets & timeframes are strictly adhered to
  • Overseeing
    all design solutions to ensure compliance with scope, specifications &
    quality
  • Ensure
    all commercial terms and agreements are understood and adhered to
  • Liaise
    with the Group Engineering Manager and all other relevant stakeholders,
    providing feed back, project status, estimates and delivery progress as
    required
  • Ensure
    all policies and procedures are followed and adhered to
  • Taking
    on the Lead Project Engineering role within the group
  • Being
    the 2IC for the Group Engineering Manager as required
To
be successful in this role you will need:
  • Minimum
    10 years in a Senior Mechanical Project Engineering role
  • A
    formal Mechanical Engineering Qualification
  • Excellent
    communication and relationship building skills
  • Previous
    experience in a food or FMCG related industry would be advantageous
  • Experience
    with a variety of materials handling equipment (conveyors, augers,
    buckets, slats etc) would be advantageous
  • Experience
    in a site based manufacturing environment
  • Experienced
    in managing large capital projects
  • Excellent
    experience with the Microsoft suite of products including MS Project
  • To
    be able to communicate and influence required outcomes at all levels
  • Excellent
    written, verbal & computer skillsDetail the qualifications and
    relevant experience required for the job.
