Financial Accountant
Responsibilities:
• Prepare statutory accounts.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure satisfactory completion of group audit.
• Prepare quarterly and annual MAS financial returns, along with monthly review of group capital position.
• Prepare monthly financial statements to ensure external and internal reporting guidelines are adhered to.
• Prepare management reporting and ad-hoc reports for Asia region
• Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecast to ensure Group reporting deadlines are adhered to.
• Verify monthly group transfer pricing calculations
• Assist in ongoing tax compliance work and liaising with external tax advisers
• Assist with on-going projects on an ad-hoc/ need to basis
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of finance experience in the asset / investment management industry.
• Must have an accounting degree
• Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft tools; those with experience in SUN accounting system will have an advantage
