Canadian Physician, Registered Nurse, Dietitian Job Vacancy in Canada at The Grand River Community Health Centre

The Grand River Community Health Centre (GRCHC) is newly established with a mandate to provide primary health care, health promotion, and illness prevention for Brantford and Brant County. If you are
seeking to truly make a difference in the health of our clients and the community, the Centre is currently
recruiting for the following positions to join its multi-disciplinary team.

PHYSICIANS (full or part-time)
You will provide primary care medical services within a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Qualifications:
– MD and CPSO licensure

NURSE PRACTITIONERS (temp. full-time)
You will perform in an expanded role providing healthcare to clients through health promotion, disease
prevention and active treatment.

Qualifications:
– Masters Degree in Nursing or Baccalaureate with diploma to work in an expanded practice
– Currently a Nurse Practitioner member in good standing with the CNO
– Experience in an expanded practice environment with knowledge of the socio-environmental
determinants of health

REGISTERED NURSE (part-time)
You will undertake primary care services including nursing assessments, health education/counseling,
history taking, follow up care, and health promotion.

Qualifications:
– Nursing Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
– Current Certificate of Competence and in good standing with the CNO
– Two years community experience

DIETITIAN (3 days per week)
We are currently recruiting a regular part-time Clinical Dietitian, CDE preferred, who will provide
individual nutrition-counselling services to CHC clients and group programming in response to
community need.
Along with excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, you must be registered
with the College of Dietitians of Ontario and have several years clinical experience.

In addition, an ability to provide flexibility and creativity in contributing to our evolving program
development is essential.
