in educating the public. We will also
engage Conservation organizations in the country in the project. The plan is to
train members of the local NGOs and Trusts, so that they can carry on with the
message after the workcamp.
Other
volunteer tasks include:
– Cleaning the delta, picking up plastic and any hazardous materials that are
dangerous to the flora and fauna in that region.
– Training and establishing environmental green scorpions; this group will be
formed by young people who will guide against people endangering the delta and
also will serve as secret agents of the wild life department.
– Educating people in the dealta about alternative means of survival apart from
hunting and gathering .
The government has developed so many programmes that benefit the nation, so the
knowledge and engagement in these programmes will reduce dependency on hunting
and gathering.
