Caboolture Regional Domestic Violence Se rvice Inc,Domestic & Family Violence Prevention Worker Jobs in Australia

vide Court and Crisis Support to adults,
predominantly women, affected by domestic and family violence.  Workers
will mostly be based in the Caboolture office and will also be
required to provide services at Caboolture, Pine Rivers, Redcliffe, and
Sandgate magistrates courts.

  x 21.5 hours per week

  x 28.5 hours per week
• One
  x 21.5 hours per week (maternity leave – till July 2016)

1. Possess
   a tertiary qualification in behavioural science or other related fields,
   with a minimum of one year work experience in a similar role.
2. hold
   a current blue card for working with children (Qld) or ability to obtain
   one.
3. In-depth
   understanding of the gender analysis and dynamics of domestic and family
   violence.
4. knowledge
   of the current Domestic & Family Violence Protection Act 2012,
   including working knowledge of other relevant legislations.
5. experience
   in providing court support, crisis intervention and advocacy.
6. proven
   inter-personal skills (verbal and written) and ability to work with people
   from diverse backgrounds and within a team environment.
7. Advance
   computer skills – use of email, MS Office suite, etc.
