Overview:
Looking for skilled candidate with natural leadership abilities; who possess diverse culinary experience and exposure in servicing African cuisine for Hotel
Duties:
Operate and delegate kitchen duties simultaneously
Plan and price menus, and create new recipes
Strict on consistent quality and presentation technique
Supervise and Manage all staff including sous chef
Organize kitchen staff schedule
Approve all prepared food items that are to leave the kitchen
Applied creativity to modify and create new menus
Perform general administrative duties of ordering supplies and communicating with hotel management
Prepare budget for labor and food costs
Manage regular inventory of food and equipment supplies
Ensure that kitchen adheres to sanitation and safety laws
(*) Additional duties of responsibilities shall be communicated at a later stage!
Requirements:
Education : Accredited certification in the Culinary Arts
Experience : 5-10 years relevant experience in hotel kitchen environment
Documents required: Financial management skills, like accounting
Human resource skills to train and recruit
Food Hygiene Certificates
HACCP
All necessary proven culinary certifications
Valid passport
