• A major focus will be in the End to End process to pay process looking at reviewing work, testing, code and file maintenance, reconciliations, and production of Management Information
• Oversee various risk and control tasks of the P2P team e.g. Business Continuity Planning, Audit trackers, Incident reporting
• Ensuring Purchase to Pay issues are resolved, in particular those relating to financial control matters, and the accuracy and completeness of accounting data
Person Specification
To be considered for this role you must;
• Have progressed from a lower level role in processing into a higher level projects role and be ready for the challenge of a specialist post
• Supported change projects in the past and been involved in delivering innovations and improvements in finance
• You will have worked in high volume/high value transaction businesses
• Have worked in a business where financial controls are a key part of the business
Have a very strong academic base (degree) and currently studying towards a full-accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA)
• The Ideal candidate will have
• Experience of working in an environment with E procurement systems are Purchasing or Financial Systems knowledge required
• The jobholder for this role will be a good communicator (probably with Higher English).
