Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote excellent customer service by ensuring
    the principals of customer service are reinforced by all Team Members
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are
    compliant with the warehouse
  • Provide coaching and training for Team Members
    to ensure an environment of continuous improvement exists and to provide
    opportunities for growth
  • Promote effective marketing and merchandising
    standards
  • Direct supervision of the leadership team
  • Develop strategies to drive the key elements
    of the Vision and Values within the store
  • Develop strategies and business plans that
    support operational objectives to maximise profit and growth
  • Prepare realistic store budgets that are
    aligned to company expectations
  • Support the local community through a variety
    of initiatives in line with the company philosophy
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety by
    leading by example, raising safety awareness and reinforcing positive
    safety behaviour
  • Minimise shrinkage through administrative
    compliance and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Ensure timely, accurate, concise, relevant
    information is communicated to the wider team
  • Ensure store presentation standards are in
    line with the warehouse strategy providing a shopping environment that is
    clean, safe and well maintained.
Skills:
  • Minimum 7 years management experience in a
    high volume environment leading a team of 100+
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and
    develop an effective management team
  • Effective planning and organisation skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Strong understanding of retail financials and
    market trends
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem solving
    skills
  • A “Hands On” approach to team work
