a PE Teacher within our Secondary School, you will have the opportunity to
teach a wide range of students. This fulltime ongoing position, commencing
January 2018, will see you teaching PE, Health and Wellbeing to students across
Years 7 to 12.

Wellbeing curriculum is moving into the PE, Health & RE Faculty. A strong
focus of this role will therefore be on Health and Wellbeing. In addition to
this, there is also the potential for a leadership opportunity within Wellbeing.

role will suit a candidate who is able to demonstrate:

- An
innovative and engaging approach to teaching PE across Years 7 to 12. - Expertise
in Health and Wellbeing within an educational context. - A
detailed understanding of principles and practices of student learning
strategies and the ways in which boys learn. - Experience
in differentiating curriculum and measuring effectiveness. - The
ability to demonstrate effective classroom management skills and the
ability to communicate effectively to a range of audiences. - A
commitment to collaborating with colleagues in planning, implementing and
reviewing curriculum. - Proven
experience in establishing and fostering relationships with students,
staff and parents. - A
willingness to be actively involved in the cultural, pastoral and
co-curricular activities of the School.
