Job
Description:
This
position consists primarily of (a) front counter service (customer service,
selling bread and pastries), (b) preparing and selling beverages, mainly
espresso-based drinks, (c) maintenance of the premises
Some
tasks/expectations include:
- working a cash register
- arranging breads and
pastries on the display shelves - knowing the basics about
each bread product and pastry that is for sale - preparing specialty
coffees and teas - contributing to menu
development - maintaining a clean work
environment - packaging
- updating menu boards
- preparing and serving
lunch items - opening and closing the
store
The
Ideal Candidate is:
- Friendly, organized,
punctual, and tidy - Excited and passionate
about food & beverage - Willing to learn a lot
about bread, and convey your knowledge to customers - Flexible and willing to
learn many aspects of running the bakery - Willing to learn a lot
about coffee - Experienced with making
great espresso-based drinks - Creative and
experimental - A good communicator,
both with customers and the team - Proficient in English,
working knowledge of French
