Boundless is an independent high school and an ambitious outdoor adventure program. We work with populations that are regarded as high need – youth at risk, adults with mental illness and people with acquired brain injuries.
Our staff and Interns are primarily Ontario Certified Teachers, Social Work students, and those interested in physical health, education, recreation and the environment. The field of study is less relevant to us than is an applicant’s history working with teens; their capacity to lead; facilitation skills; acumen in outdoor pursuits; and to get their hands dirty working with our clients in extraordinarily beautiful and inspiring conditions.
Summer Interns will be given room and board at our 600 basecamp in the Ottawa valley, plus a stipend of $1500-$5000 (depending on previous experience and credentials) for a term of May 1 — Sept 2, 2012. Options would exist for a further four month placement in the Spring/Summer, beginning May 1st.
Opportunities exist for subsequent seasonal contracts in our boarding school and in our winter program.
