ACTUARIAL
ANALYST
Applications are
invited from suitably qualified employees for the position of Actuarial Analyst.
Job Summary
The role of the Actuarial Analyst is to sup
port the Actuarial Manager in
Actuarial valuation and product development and the end to end execution of
actuarial activities within the company.
Requirements
Key
Performance Areas
- Provide
input in designing product specifications - Pricing
of new products and re-pricing of existing products - Design
and maintenance of profit testing models - Liaises
with Actuarial Operations manager for configuration of products in the
administration system and quotation system - Liaises
with Marketing to review marketing material - Liaises
with Learning and Development to review training material - Calculate
reserves, APE, PVNBP, VNB, OP and other performance measures as and when
needed by the Actuary/Actuarial Manager - Preparation
of financial results report and other reports as and when needed by the
Actuary/Actuarial Manager - Valuation
data clean-up - Other
investigations as and when needed by the Actuary/Actuarial Manager
Education
Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or Statistics
Background
Experience
2 years post qualification experience and almost completed CT stage. Computer
literacy in Microsoft office products.
