ACCOUNTS
EXECUTIVE – PAY POINTS LIAISON
Job Summary
The purpose of this role is ensue effective and efficient premium billing,
collections and allocations across Botswana Life paypoints along with arrears
collections. The role will encompass paypoint relationship management across
the assigned paypoints. The incumbent should also produce management reports as
required.
Requirements
Key
Performance Areas
- Review
and validate premium collection files and ensure timely submission of same
to the respective pay points - Monitor
and collect premium credit files from pay points as well as loading them
in the system - Monitor
and collect premiums from pay points for receipting and allocations - Follow
up arrears & make proper arrangement with pay points and or clients to
pay on monthly basis - Conduct
monthly paypoint reconciliation for manual paypoints - Automation
of manual pay points and monitor the clean-up of manual pay points when
turning electronic - Ensure
monthly control accounts are done timeously and accurately submitted - Provide
input into preparation of management reports - Coordinate
testing on resolution of any identified system challenges and advice on
results of the test in terms of recommendations for either deployment of
new changes or further reviews of the resolution - Supports
premium administration manager and perform any other duties as may
reasonable be assigned by a supervisor
Qualifications
- A
numerate degree such as Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics,
Engineering, Quantity Surveying, IT or equivalent - Certificate
of Proficiency (Long Term Insurance) will be an added advantage
Background
Experience
- Candidates
should have three (3) years relevant work experience, at least one (1) of
which should have been at supervisory level. - Experience
in a process engineering, MIS, system development and/or testing
environment will be an added advantage. - Intermediate
Excel skills are mandatory for this role.
The Post is tenable
in Gaborone.
