Maintenance
Program Engineer
Program Engineer
Position Description:
- This position performs the functions
of a typical Maintenance Program Engineer for a scheduled air carrier. - Successful candidate for this
position will have previous experience in this role with a focus on
operations with an approved CAAS AOC holder. - Develop and maintain Maintenance
Program (AMS) based on analysis of OEM Maintenance Planning Document (MPD)
and operator reliability recommendations. - Supports the coordination of
maintenance related certification requirements [e.g., Extended Operations
(ETOPS), Certification Maintenance Requirements (CMR), Airworthiness
Limitations (AWL) etc.] across engineering groups, operator, and
regulators to maintain product type certification and sustaining
operations. - Review and implement quarterly MPD
updates. - Create and amend maintenance job
cards. - Coordinate operator’s program
requirements on a continuous basis including management of maintenance
program optimization. - Provide resource management for areas
of responsibilities. - Applies regulatory and industry standards
to ensure safety and support efficient operation. - Other duties and responsibilities as
assigned by management. - Benefits and pay are determined at
the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S.-based payroll.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:
- Advanced understanding of OEM
maintenance program methodologies and common practices. - Working knowledge of SAP.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel,
Word and Access tools. - Working knowledge of Microsoft
PowerPoint and Project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in a
technical field of study. - MRO related experience.
- Working knowledge and understanding
of commercial airline maintenance programming functions with 3 years
minimum experience. - Boeing Maintenance Program training
preferred. - Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. - Ability to organize, prioritize and
structure tasks and information. - Willingness and ability to make
decisions and work in a team environment
