My client is a highly successfully SME operating within the management consultancy space focusing on data analytics projects across strategy and operations, transformation and marketing analytics.
Working with a range of bluechip clients across multiple sectors including commerical and investment banking, FMCG, Media, Professional Services, IT and Technology, your role and focuses will be both challenging and diverse.
You will use a variety of analytical tools and techniques covering factors that contribute to an organisations sales effectiveness and your accountabilities will include;
• Detailed regression analysis of the factors that drive sales and business performance
• Recasting and automation of ad hoc and standard reporting
• Conducting regression (against on target performance & net real growth data) to determine & redefine what actually drives company sales performance
• Define & document house view on treatment of outliers & over claimers, country biases, etc in the database
• Developing sales effectiveness dashboards and company & leader scatter plots
• In consultation with the management team create data driven insights that will be used in marketing & promotional activities
You will be using a combination of technical tools including SAS, STATA and SPSS; exposure to one or more of these is essential along with strong data analytics skills (18 months +), ideally gained within a marketing analytics environment.
More important are strong statistical skills in regression modeling, commercial acumen and the ability to translate data analysis in to commercial value add solutions.
