Our client is one of Australia’s most iconic and well known manufacturers,
supplying a broad range of products to its customer base. The company has
recently under gone substantial changes in order to maintain its strong market
share; due to this change the business requires a

highly skilled Electrical
Team Leader to join the team based in the Hobart manufacturing plant.

The role

• Reporting to the Site Manager this role has two direct reports and will be
responsible for the day-to-day running of the maintenance department.
• This includes; completing daily preventative maintenance tasks in a timely
and efficient manner.
• Using the CMMS system to plan and schedule maintenance tasks.
• Attending to breakdowns, furthermore looking at ways to reduce the frequency
of breakdowns by conducting trouble shooting techniques.
• Building communication channels between production and maintenance teams to
facilitate a cross collaborative function.
• Effective training and development of the maintenance team to ensure the
facility runs at optimum levels of efficiency.

Your background

The ideal candidate will have an electrical trade qualification with strong
experience in a similar FMCG environment. Ideally you will have experience
developing a maintenance team and bringing them from a reactive to a proactive
environment. You will have proven experience increasing collaboration between
maintenance and production and be a clear communicator, both written and verbal.
Ideally you will have strong problem solving skills and the ability to engage
different stakeholders at all levels of the structural chain.
