ASIA ENGINEERING MANAGER (CHEMICAL/MINING/CONSTRUCTION)

ASIA ENGINEERING MANAGER
Prestigious Australian MNC in the Mining and Chemical industry is currently sourcing for a Asia Engineering Manager to join thier exciting organization. The successful candidate can look forward to a competitive remuneration package with great career opportunities.

Safety Health & Environment
Ensure that projects undertaken meet both corporate and statutory safety, health and environment requirements
Ensure full compliance to SH&E policies and Engineering systems within the business from the Asia Engineering Team

Business, Engineering Support and Project Management
Provide business and second level support to local operations for both fixed and mobile manufacturing unit equipment
Ensure project scopes and estimates reflect best practices are optimised to achieve business objectives
Manage the execution of projects to ensure all objectives are all met

Engineering Design
Liaise with the design team to ensure projects are fit for purpose and fulfil all expectations of the Operations team

Value Opportunities and Project Management Process Champion
Seek out any cost savings measures
Ensure process is efficient and effective and regularly updated to reflect best practices

Leadership/Team Development
Ability to influence and make decision
Ability to manage a remote team

Requirements:
• Degree in any Engineering Discipline
• At least 5 years of similar experience, with good leadership/management experience
• Open to all Singaporeans, Permanent Residents with willingness for heavy travelling
• Knowledge of Dangerous Good regulations, environmental protection requirements and quality principles an advantage but not compulsory
