Baker Hughes has an opening for a Warehouse Person for our Facility in Papua New Guinea.
Responsibilities of this role will include:
* Receives inbound material from outside suppliers and other Baker Hughes plants and field locations.
* Stocks received material, as well as completed products and assemblies from in-house production.
* Picks materials, components and end products and deliver them to Production or shipping.
* Performs cycle counts.
* Perform hydro testing of hoses and spools as per procedure.
* Prepares component kits for production, fills orders and supplier subcontract parts.
Requirements of this position include:
* Good working knowledge of health, safety and environment systems.
* Senior First Aid Certificate
* To work flexible hours in response to client needs and expectations.
* To operate in compliance with, and according to, the standards stipulated in the Baker Hughes’
Incorporated Code of Conduct
* To fulfil the requirements of the position according to the company health, safety and environmental guidelines; promoting safe practices both personally and among others
* Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
* Possess basic written communication skills.
* Basic PC skills.
* The work environment is very fast paced and noisy.
* It is one of constant movement while performing the duties of this job.
* The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
* The employee must be able to operate a forklift while loading or unloading freight
