We are currently seeking a Operations Coordinator to work in Papua New Guinea on a 28/28 days basis.
The Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing the PNG base and all, including, but not limited to, related Completions, Liner Hanger and Wellbore Intervention products and services.
Responsibilities of this position:
• Coordinates and supervises activities of service or technical personnel via personnel assignments, job or project management, administration and technical support.
• Responsible for multiple or single products/services in a single legal entities.
• Typically does not have budgetary responsibility.
• Monitors daily progress of job(s) or project(s).
• Works independently under general supervision, requiring normal guidance and review.
• Provides some technical guidance and work direction to field staff.
• Handles special projects, as assigned
Experience and Skills required:
• High School Diploma or equivalent however a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 8+ years experience in a oilfield operations environment.
• Previous experience with Repair & Maintenance, Installations and Quality Systems
• Demonstrated HSE leadership qualities
• Thorough understanding of product line(s)/service(s) in an operational area or district.
• Thorough understanding of customer requirements.
• Ability to use specialized skills, knowledge and techniques in problem recognition and solution development
