My
client has developed a solid reputation for producing award-winning design and
construction projects across commercial, education, aged care, multi-unit
and residential sectors, ranging in value from $1M to $30M.
Due to their growth, they are in need of an experienced Contract Administrator
to complement their team.

The role


You will assist in the preparation and negotiation of contracts. You will also
assist the Project Manager to ensure all projects are completed on time and within
budget. You will be in charge of the procurement of the sub-contractors and of
the progress of the sub-contractor payment claims & administer variations.

You

  • You
    will have completed a tertiary qualification in quantity surveying,
    construction/project management or a related discipline or have extensive
    construction industry experience
  • You
    have at least 5 years experience in contracts administration in a mid
    tier environment and have worked on multi-level and residential
    projects. 
  • You
    are capable of working without direction or micro management and
    are able to multi task effectively. 
  • You
    also have excellent communication skills and you possess excellent
    commercial awareness with strong relationship building, influencing and
    negotiating skills. You have an excellent understanding of the contracts
    in general.
