POSITION:
SHE MANAGER
Key Performance
Areas (duties & responsibilities):
- Pursue
strategies, processes and systems of safety, Health, Environment (SHE)
throughout the organisation - Lead
effective investigations of all SHE contraventions, oversee corrective
actions and promote compliance - Ensure
there are no appropriate structures and legal appointments to manage on
site - Coordinate
implementation and maintenance of SHE systems & certifications - Coordinate
and prepare SHE reports for the site and the group - Actively
cultivate a SHE culture throughout the organisation - Achieve
SHE Objectives through active influence of strategic and operational
management - Conduct
internal SHE Audits and inspections on regular basis - Assist
the mining and maintenance operations with quality assurance oversight and
also assist in the investigation of non-conformance reports generated on
site - Assist
in rolling out Aveng Mining SHERQ campaigns on site - Coach
and train SHEQ officers and SHEQ Representatives on site - Facilitate
Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment Workshops on site and assist
site HODs to carryout Risk Assessments
Requirements
Academic
Qualifications
- B Tech
– Safety Management Qualification or other relevant tertiary qualification
Experience
- Approximately
6 years work experience

safety guidelines, and deal with non-conformance - Ensures
