The Australian Red Cross Blood Service is entrusted with the supply of blood in
Australia. We collect and process life-saving blood products for patients in
need.
Within a professional and close-knit Donor C
entre team, you will play a key
role in the customer care of our amazing blood donors by ensuring the donation
process is positive, effective and efficient. You will be the welcoming
face on our reception, responsible for assisting donors with making and re-booking
appointment. Your enthusiastic, respectful and caring nature will keep
our donors coming back and donating blood. You will also prepare the
post-donation food and beverages.
You will have:
• Experience in a customer service or reception role
• Experience in retail, hospitality or healthcare (desirable)
• Working knowledge of safe food handling procedures
• Proven ability to accurately maintain systems
• Ability to manage appointment times and busy waiting areas
You will also be:
• Focused on providing great customer care
• Great with detail and problem solving
• Computer savvy and able to multi task
• Excellent at adapting to pressure and change within a regulated
environment
