South Sydney based Mid tier Consultancy firm with a large Australian and International customer base, is looking for a new addition to their ever expanding Financial Accounting team. This is a leading business with operations across Asia Pacific and Head Office in South Sydney.

Due to company expansion, a new role has been created to support and assist the Financial Controller of the business. This is an Assistant Accountant role covering all aspects of day to day management and financial accounting.

Specific tasks will include: Bank reconciliations on weekly and monthly basis; Profit and Loss; Balance Sheet reconciliation; posting of month end journals; fixed asset register maintenance; intercompany reconciliation; accounts receivable, accounts payable; assisting with month end closing; reporting on Excel.

The ideal applicant will be working in a similar role and be studying towards their CPA qualification or Accounting Degree. They will have intermediate to Advanced Excel and have excellent communication skills. This is a excellent job opportunity for someone who is looking for a more in depth and involved accounting role who has exposure to month end procedures and is keen to learn more.
