Intermediate Traffic / Development Engineer sought to join a busy
municipality located in the Northern suburbs of Melbourne for a temporary
contract appointment. Our client offer flexible working hours and provide
staff with a friendly and supportive work culture.

Employed as a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for a mix of
Traffic & Development Engineer.

This includes assessment of planning permit referrals, performing traffic
investigations, traffic impact assessments, development of traffic management
schemes, technical report writing and responding to enquiries from local
residents and clients.

As the ideal candidate you will have/be:

A degree in Civil or relevant experience /
qualifications
An Intermediate CIvil Engineer with previous
experience within Local Government
Ability to resolve complex traffic issues
Experience assessing planning applications
Solid knowledge of Local Government traffic
and transport procedures and policies
Excellent written and verbal communication
skills
A current drivers license
