Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Keeps motor vehicle in good running
conditions and report immediately faults and defects to the employer
• Ensures safety and cleanliness of the
vehicle at all times
• Ensures that the vehicle movement logbook
is properly and accurately logged and any irregulari
ties are reported
immediately.
• Ensures that no unauthorized persons board
the vehicle
• Drives within the required speed limit
• Remains sober, smart and courteous at all
times during the office hours and on call
• Seeks permission from the CEO and/or
authorized Officer before moving the vehicle
• Any other duties assigned by the CEO
and/or authorized Officer
Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
• Minimum secondary education
• A valid and clean driving licence
• Speaking and understanding English language
• Ability to work under minimum supervision
• Professional driving course certificates
from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
• Minimum 4 years of driving experience
• Minimum age requirement is 25
• A demonstrated ability to implement
management directives with little direct supervision.
Salary range:
Salary is negotiable commensurate with experience and competencies
Job location: Dar es Salaam but may be required to drive outside Dar es Salaam
on official duties
