A limited number of prestigious PhD Studentships are offered to encourage the best science graduates to embark on a research career in any discipline relevant to arthritis and related musculoskeletal diseases.
Studentships will be awarded to university departments by open competition and will be tenable for 3 years
starting in October 2013. The awards will provide a generous tax-free incremental stipend, plus UK tuition fees (not overseas fees) and limited running costs.
University departments are invited to submit proposals for projects that have clear relevance to the aims of Arthritis Research UK and which will provide training in research in a multidisciplinary environment. Due to funding regulations applicants must be based in the UK.
