Art in Tanzania is looking for a hard-working Financial/Donations and Project Coordinator/Team Leader, who will be committed to the management of volunteers and staff as well as the development of Art in
Tanzania’s Finance and Projects at our Moshi Branch.
The job:
Project Coordinator
• Organizing and overseeing various educational, environmental and community development activities and projects for international volunteers.
• Monitoring and improving current projects and development of new projects
• Responsible for all liaisons with placements, including daily communications and regular visits
• Development of independent volunteer and internship programs
Financial Coordinator
• Overseeing and maintaining budgets and financial accounts
• In communication with the Financial Coordinator at our Dar es Salaam Headquarters
Donations Coordinator
• Facilitating progress updates to donors – Moshi
• Assisting with organizing fundraising activities in-country – Moshi
• In Communication with the Financial Coordinator at our Dar es Salaam Headquarters.
Team Leading
• Updating CRM with booking, volunteering and safari information
• Supervising and guiding intern and volunteer programs
• Allocating accommodation and facilitating volunteer briefing on arrival
• Other administrative tasks

• Experience of working with volunteers especially in an international setting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Negotiation and liaison skills & high attention to detail
• Management and organization skills
• Takes initiative and has a “can do” attitude
• Time management skills
• Ability to manage staff
• Approachable for volunteers, resilient and mature, with the ability to work alone and in a team under basic living conditions
• Ability to motivate others
• Fluency in English, Knowledge of Swahili helpful

Note:
Flights are self-funded. Art in Tanzania will refund the required Tourist Visa and the Class C work permit. Accommodation and food are provided. You will receive a monthly stipend to cover living expenses.
