Job description:
Art in Tanzania is looking for a hard-working Project Coordinator/Team Leader, who will be committed to the management of volunteers and staff as well as the development of community volunteer and tourism programs in the area of Karatu and Maasai Land.
The job:
• Supervising tourists and guiding occasional intern and volunteer programs
• Allocating accommodation and facilitating volunteer/intern/tourist briefing on arrival to Karatu Volunteer House
• Assisting in organizing safaris & day trips, logistics
• Overseeing weekly budgets and financial accounts
• Assisting with organizing fundraising activities in-country
• Preparing and distributing bi-monthly newsletters

• Experience of working with tourists/volunteers especially in an international setting
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Negotiation and liaison skills & high attention to detail
• Management and organization skills
• Takes initiative and has a “can do” attitude
