Essential
Duties & Responsibilities
Include but are not
inclusive to;
Sales
- Process
quotations and be diligent in following up opportunities - Generate
new leads/opportunities through new customer contacts - Provide
product information to customer request - Identify
and communicate potential sales opportunities - Maintain
customer information on the database, as well as initial data entry of
customer details and sales opportunities - Participate
in customer visits - Assist
in tendering - Assist
in updating the company’s social media information - Assist
in sales reporting - Assist
in documenting sales procedures
Answer
incoming telephone, e-mail and web enquires
- Answer
and asses incoming phone, e-mail and web inquiries and divert to the
appropriate staff member - Responsibility
for processing basic inquiries
Job
Management
- Know
how to set up new jobs on the database ensuring all the correct
information has been collected i.e. post colours, round corners and
artwork details etc - Ensure
the customer is continually informed regarding the status of their jobs as
well as following up on client inquiries about job status - Ensure
job information is communicated across the organisation in a effective and
efficient way - Responsibility
for maintaining job documentation
General
Administration
- Maintain
daily logs of incoming artwork and digital media, and file with respective
jobs - Observe
quality assurance procedures and work instructions - Responsibility
for keeping office areas neat and tidy

Education
and/or Experience
One year certificate
from college or technical school; or six/twelve months related experience

instructions and procedure manuals. Have the ability to write simple
correspondence, and the ability to speak effectively to customers, suppliers
and other employees.
Mathematical

A good ability to
add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, common fractions and decimals. Also a good understanding and
interpretation of graphical information is necessary
