Job Description: Senior Drilling Engineer Operator

The purpose of the Senior Drilling Engineer is to provide and be responsible for the overall drilling engineering support to the offshore operation from Accra. This role will work with the Drilling Engineer’s and Drilling Superintendent(s) to ensure well integrity and a high level of operational efficiency is maintained.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for drilling engineering support in Ghana Deepwater.
Contribute to delivering operational EHS performance.
Ensures that all drilling activities comply with company standards and governmental regulations.
Provides well engineering delivery objectives as necessary.
Provide input into the specification of drilling equipment and services in accordance with company procedures.
Liaise with Well Engineering Group, London and sub-surface personnel to ensure reservoir requirements are delivered.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or equivalent
