Industry, are currently seeking a dynamic and visionary leader as Managing
Director who will work
closely with the Board of Directors in ensuring that the strategic mission of
Aon Botswana is achieved


resulting in sustainable superior financial performance of the Company.

The
Key Responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordinate the
    formulation, implementation and review of the company’s strategy, goals
    and objectives.
  • Propose, seek agreement
    and implement a structure which will support the formulated strategy.
  • Provide overall
    strategic leadership, direction and guidance to the Aon Botswana team.
  • Drive value creation
    through financial, customer base, reputation and organizational capacity.
  • Build the company’s
    capacity to sustain continual change in a competitive environment whilst
    ensuring full compliance to the Group, Botswana and International
    regulatory frameworks.

Essential
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills requirements:

  • Postgraduate
    qualification in Business Studies with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in
    the short term insurance industry, seven of which must be at Executive
    level
  • Above average
    understanding of the short term insurance sector and financial markets in
    the Sub Sahara Africa Insurance Markets and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to develop business
    in the short and long term insurance sector with the main resource being
    intellectual property.
  • Ability to drive a high
    performance culture and enable business growth and expansion of market
    share
  • Excellent interpersonal
    skills, including negotiation skills, cultural sensitivity, listening
    skills and conflict handling skills.
