TASK
We are looking for volunteers to conduct online English classes on skype for children in Chennai,India.Volunteers best suited for this opportunity are those who can converse in Tamil and who also have excellent English skills.Volunteers must be motivated, enthusiastic, and willing to make a commitment. The timings of the classes are 6-8 pm IST (Mon-Sun). You would be required to teach the students on any
one day of your choice. Please apply only if these timings suit you.
Orientation will be given to all the volunteers.
All applicants will be interviewed and will be responsible to communicate with a team leader on a regular basis.
Please note that you will not certified or provided with a letter of recommendation only after you have logged in 100 hours of work over your service period. Absolutely, no exception will be made to this policy.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Offering online English classes is part of our literacy project for children and the youth. We hope to empower them by educating them and developing their personalities.

Fluency in Tamil and English is required as the children are beginners. Some experience in teaching would be well looked upon but not necessary.
