Position: Environmental Canvasser
Organization: Ancient Forest Alliance http://www.ancientforestalliance.org
Location: Vancouver area, British Columbia
Are you passionate about ancient forests, gargantuan trees, and
biodiversity? Are you interested in old-growth conservation and
sustainable forestry in British Columbia? Do you believe sustainable
forestry has the potential to foster healthy communities rich with a
diversity of jobs, nature, and resources?
Come be a part of our campaign, join our team of awareness-raisers,
and have fun!
The Ancient Forest Alliance is currently hiring door-canvassers in the
Vancouver area. Our eco- and socially-conscious canvassers function as
outreach support by going door-to-door to raise awareness and funds
for AFA’s campaigns to protect B.C’s old-growth forests and forestry
jobs.
The canvass team goes out Monday to Thursday evenings. We meet at 5pm
and canvass from 6 until 9pm. There is a minimum two night per week
commitment, which can be any of those days and can change from week to
week depending on your schedule.
