JOB DESCRIPTION:
To support the CSR department by ensuring it achieves its strategy and implementation of its objectives through the following activities:
• Establish and maintain positive and harmonious relationships between Amlib and the local communities in which we operate;
• Support existing programs and introduce new programs that will boost the public image of the Company;
• Oversee philanthropic projects, community outreach and volunteerism in the various communities within Amlib’s concession;
• Liaising with site managers and other staff as required;
• Work with Amlib’s geological and environmental staff to ensure best practices are maintained to minimize any environmental and social impact in the course of our exploration work.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
• The candidate is required to hold at least a bachelor’s degree in an area of study to include social sciences, business, politics, economics, technology or environmental sciences.
• At least 5 years of working experience in communications, public relations or related fields with recognized institutions.
Other Skills:
• Computer literacy in a number of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Excellent communication skills.

• To work as part of the staff team to achieve Amlib project objectives, reporting to the CSR Manager.
• Regular communication with key colleagues through reporting via email, phone and face-to-face meetings.
