provides an opportunity for a person with good communication skills to undertake a range of duties for the Association.
Reporting to the Executive Officer Membership, key responsibilities include:
• Delivery of membership services
• Assist in the development of membership marketing initiatives
• Assist in the development and distribution of member communications
• Communicate member benefits to members and potential members
• Follow up on enquiries and offer support to members
• Maintain the data integrity and membership records
• Attend to invoicing, debtor control and reporting matters
• Attend and assist at member events
It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following personal attributes:
• An employment background in the co-ordination and delivery of a professional membership service
• Experience in planning and development of marketing and business strategies including the use of IT
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Good eye for detail and attention to detail
• Knowledge of data bases
Some knowledge of the health sector and the medical profession would be considered advantageous.
