All Hills Fencing Assistant Operations Manager Job Vacancy in Australia


We are a fast paced fencing company that has
established itself a solid foothold within  Building & Construction
Industry circles since 1995.
We are looking for an energetic, charismatic person
to join our fast paced, tight knit team who has a proven track record with
attention to detail and ability to think outside the box and problem solve
quickly, efficiently & cost effectively without visiting sites.
We prise ourselves on our reputation & repeat
clientele base of both Residential & Commercial clients. The successful
applicant would have to be able to liaise effectively with a broad range of
clients to strengthen existing bonds and help create new ones.
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and
    other staff to ensure smooth running of the Department.
  • Communicate and consult with Upper Management,
    All Hills Fencing Regional Office, Residential & Commercial Clientele,
    Project Managers & Site Foremans, Suppliers, Estimations &
    Installation personnel, yard staff and other related Authorities for job
    related issues.
  • Work within Company internal computing and
    manual systems.
  • Scope Quotes, Plans & Job Sheets.
  • Order materials & arrange deliveries in a
    timely manner.
  • Co-ordinate Jobs, Suppliers, Installers &
    Clients effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to building legislation and
    standards of performance, quality, cost & safety requirements.
  • Help oversee scheduling, job profitability,
    labour management, invoice approval, billing, collections, inspections and
    client relations.
  • Input Insurance, Strata & Govt Body works
    into clients own web based systems.
  • Negotiate, review and finalise sub contractor
    payments within budget constraints.
  • Action and Process RA’s, SWMS & QOHSER
    policy requirements as requested by clients & relative authorities.
  • Help ensure Company and legislative WHS
    policies and procedures are adhered to by all site personnel.
To Be Considered for this Position you MUST:
  • Have a minimum 2 years Building and
    Construction Industry background, preferably within Fencing Industry.
  • Thorough understanding & knowledge of WHS
    & QOHSER legislations.
  • Possess competent Computer Skills.
  • Have a current White Card, Drivers Lic and own
    vehicle.
  • Be pro-active, well organised, adaptable &
    a good negotiator.
  • Able to quickly assess problems &
    communicate solutions effectively.
  • Willing to go the extra mile.
