As part of the WHOS (We Help Ourselves) organisation, the WHOS Rozelle campus has 4 AOD residential services (TC) for men, women & clients on opioid substitution treatment.
We are loc. in the grounds of Broughton Hall Lilyfield & we req. F/T; P/T & Casual staff for
our Opioid Substitution Treatment Services being stabilisation (WHOS RTOD) & reduction (WHOS MTAR).
We are looking for enthusiastic & motivated A&OD workers who are willing to work shift work as req. incl. mornings, evenings, awake night shifts & weekends.
Essential:
Min Cert IV in AOD/Community Services
Demonstrated knowledge &exp.e working with AOD clients, pref. in a residential setting
Sound written & oral communication skills
Group work skills
Knowledge & understanding of HIV/Infectious disease & ability to implement
Harm Minimisation program Commitment to work as part of a team
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Drivers Licence
Computer literacy & word processing skills
Desirable:
Knowledge & understanding of the Therapeutic Community model
Knowledge of opioid substitution treatment
Remuneration:
Neg. based on quals & exp. equivalent to SCHC&D Award.
