Airtel Ghana Job Vacancy for General Ledger Accountant

The GL Accountant will be responsible for the efficient management of the company’s General Ledger which includes complete and accurate reconciliation of all GL balances and postings. The role reports to the

Financial Reporting Manager
Ensure accuracy of GL reconciliation and completeness of supporting schedules
Ensure accuracy of general ledger accounting and timely delivery of monthly financial reports
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of group reporting requests
Ensure timely completion and coordination of quarterly audits with no qualification or material adjustments
Liaison with internal auditors during audits
Coordination of all returns filed with the GRA and other regulatory agencies for compliance purposes
Relationship management with all the relevant tax authorities, external auditors, tax consultants and other regulatory agencies on all tax matters

Required Skills or Experience
University degree in Accounting or B Commerce
Professional qualification, ACCA, CIMA, or part qualified
3-5 years accounting experience in Telecoms/FMCG
