The Company
Our client are a Global Media organisation. They have a large portfolio of media platforms across digital, broadcasting and publishing. The market leader in their sector, this world class company are currently on a recruitment drive and are looking to recruit an Advertising Field Sales Executive to cover the areas of Edinburgh, Lothian, Borders, Central Scotland and surrounding areas. They provide cutting edge, innovative and creative advertising solutions using new technology, materials and prime media placing them at the fore front of their sector.
The Role
They are looking for a Advertising Field Sales Executive to sell a range of unique media solutions to new business customers and developing an extensive portfolio of existing accounts covering, SME and Blue Chip clients direct. You will be responsible for sourcing potential customers, developing leads, generating client meetings, then attending and presenting bespoke creative presentations to a range of customers. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers with a number of their larger clients, ensuring that the relationship is nurtured and grown. Working to targets and deadlines will have the support and back up of strong case studies, metrics and marketing information through a powerful media based solution
The Candidate
To apply for this role you will require a minimum of 1 years experience selling advertising space any medium in a field sales environment (i.e. radio, newspapers, magazines, television, digital, outdoor etc). You will have a strong understanding of the media and marketing departments, coupled motivation and passion to develop new business. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels. You will require the drive, determination and high activity levels to achieve in a highly competitive market
