IT Internship (Software Innovation) – ref INT/IT/JUNE2013
Key responsibilities:
Participate and leading in key internal software projects (new and existing
one).
Together with Database team assisting in development of new reports (Birt and
SQL reports).
Perform periodic Intranet and website support & maintenance
Help the Bank in innovation and improvement of various software to support
business.
Help Desk support to users on various applications operating within a Bank
Converting Operations needs to technical solution by learning them and critically
analyzing them.
Competencies:
Able to communicate well with other departments, Understand Operations terms,
needs and convert into MIS.
Understanding, adaptable, and patient
Good at problem-solving, time-management, Planning and organizing
Able to work well under pressure and under self-supervision
Strong Innovation skills
Strong IT background
Physical Requirements
This position require to spend a lot of time using computers, so it is
important to know how to use computer equipment properly to avoid occupational
overuse syndrome (OOS).
Qualifications and Experience:
A Bachelor or Diploma in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Computer
Engineering or Related Fields.
Professional certifications in database and Web design languages will be an added
advantage
Proven practical experience in Java,Android SDK,PHP,Asp.net,Sybase,Oracle,Mysql
server,Joomla and Typo3 administration.
Strong SQL and web development skills are must with at-least 2 websites or
projects he/she participated are currently available and operating online.
Knowledge of Orbit/Equinox Banking System will be an added advantage
Good Knowledge in operating systems such Windows, UNIX/LINUX/ eg.Centos/Red
hat,Win7
Knowledge in basics Computer Protocols and networks LAN and WAN will be an
advantage
