Accountant – Local Rights
Programme, 3 year contract – Lilongwe
Applications are invited from
suitable persons who possess sound knowledge and financial expertise and are
familiar with
management and accounting practices both locally and
internationally, Proven experience in budget preparations, productions,
production of financial reports for use by management and donors, The ideal
candidate must have practical knowledge of SUN Accounting System and affinity
with the poor and excluded as these are absolute essentials, Ideal candidate
will have a Bachelors Degree I Accounting/Finance and be Chartered Accountant
(ACCA, CIMA and CPA) or equivalent and a minimum of 3 yrs related experience
Plans and Budgets for Lilongwe
offices and provides technical support in production of budgets for all Support
units and National programmes, Produces Payroll and initiates payment of tax
and insurance premiums and reports, Stores and Fixed Asset management by
updating fixed asset and inventory register, Manages liquid funds through
monitoring banks balances, foreign currency sale whenever need arises, Prepares
monthly management accounts and variance reports to show utilisation of
Financial resources
