ACDI/VOCA has approximately 81 projects in 46 countries and revenues of over $110 million. ACDI/VOCA and its partners, Project Concern International (PCI), John Snow International (JSI), and Making Cents International, developed a comprehensive action plan to bolster food security in Liberia by addressing the following technical areas: the promotion of sustainable livelihood strategies; improved health and nutrition; and support to interventions to increase access to and quality of education. The project will focus on these three objectives with the aim to reduce food insecurity among vulnerable rural populations in six districts in Bong and Nimba counties.
The Assistant Warehouse Manager position is administrative in nature and requires one to contribute towards systematizing and assisting in ensuring smooth functioning of all warehouse activities. The Assistant Warehouse Manager is required to work under the guidance and supervision of a warehouse manager or supervisor and carry out all orders effectively and efficiently
Duties and Responsibilities
• Conduct functions relating to requisition, receipt, stacking, and dispatch of goods and supplies;
• Organize the systematic storage of material;
• Maintain inventory of all supplies and making note of damaged goods etc.;
• Perform all duties assigned by the warehouse manager or supervisor;
• Coordinate with transporters and suppliers for the dispatch and procurement of goods;
• Supervise the maintenance of warehouse tools and machinery;
• Follow proper documentation and safety procedures of all warehouse functions;
• Supervise and oversee the functioning of all subordinates.

• Excellent organizational and regulatory skills;
• Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
• Able to follow orders and complete assignments on time;
• Able to efficiently coordinate work with internal and external workers of the NGO;
• Able to efficiently manage time and meet all deadlines.
Job Requirement:
Education and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in trade administration, stocktaking, supply chain or any related field of study from an accredited institution;
• Post Graduate degree or a diploma in materials management, stock or bookkeeping or any other related discipline;
• Experience of about 2 to 3 in warehousing or retail field.
