Accounting for International Development provides
volunteer accountant for grassroots charities in Africa, Asia and South America
but does also handle a small number of paid roles such as this.
 

Our partner is a prestigious international disease
prevention charity. They are looking for a London-based Management Accountant
to support the CFO in providing an efficient accounting service to all sections
of the organisation across the world.
Responsibilities:
Management Accounting
  Issue
monthly management accounts to Country Directors and collect feedback
  Prepare
all project budgets and the organisation’s annual budget
  Help the
preparation of the UK annual budget and plan
Financial Accounting and Regulatory Matters
  Assist the
Chief Finance Officer in improving financial systems by providing ideas based
on day-to-day experience
Donor Reports (time permitting)
  Review
donor financial reports with with project managers on a timely basis and with
the frequency required by the donor
  Assist in
compiling budgets for new projects
Candidate:
Qualifications: Essential:
  ACA, ACCA
or CIMA
  Knowledge
of NGO donors and their financial reporting requirements
  Minimum of
3 years’ experience
Desirable:
  Experience
of USAID compliance
Skills: Essential:
  Excellent
computer and Excel skills
  Good
analytical and reporting skills
  Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills
