  • CHALLENGE – Autonomous control of an office.
  • PROSPECTS – Only hire people that can be Partners.
  • FIRM – Potential acquisitions lined up for growth.
The role
is focused on taking autonomous control of the Sydney office by 2016.
They’ve identified there is a significant amount of opportunity in a client
base of just under half a million dollars and are in need of

someone who has
the technical and relationship skills to manage this. It is expected that this
figure can easily grow by 50% through value added services to the current
clients and leads from the companies affiliates have a projected target of $1M.
Your objective will be to build client
relationships and advise as opposed to processing.

The
typical fees per job are currently $4K and the lack of technical expertise has
meant that the more complex clients with $8-12K in fees have needed shifting to
another office. The goal is to keep these clients within the office you join.
It’s an
exciting time within the firm as potential acquisitions are being lined up that
will see them double in size as they continue to push their growth. The firm
takes a long-term view on staff development and if successful they will invest
in you and support your career growth with the firm. They only hire people that
they can see as being eventual Partners so there will be mentorship to help you
get where you want to go.
It is a
very fun office and although they get the work done the people are
approachable and give each other a helping hand. They are a close-knit bunch
with Friday night drinks each week and staff are looked after
with professional development opportunities such as external
seminars.
Boutique firm. CA Qualified. 9 + years experience.
