We are a progressive
CPA Practice with a diverse and growing client base looking for an
accountant to join the Beverly Hills office of our Accounting
firm.

The role will
involve working within a small team and managing a portfolio of
clients.

Looking for an
accountant with at least five years experience in taxation and accounting
services in Australia. Must be qualified. Please do not apply if you have no
Australian tax experience.

Flexible hours
available to suit a mum coming back into the workforce. Full-time or Part-time
position available to the right candidate.

Duties
and responsibilities of the role are:

• Preparation
  of financial statements

• Preparation
  of business activity statements
• Preparation
  of Fringe benefits tax returns;
• Attending
  to Corporate Register changes and maintenance;
• Liaising
  with clients to attend to various matters;
• Liaising
  with the ATO for and on behalf of clients;
• Review
  MYOB/computerised account information;
• Assisting
  clients with queries and problem solving;

Requirements:

• Minimum
  of 5 years previous work experience in an Accounting firm in Australia
  essential;
• Excellent
  time management skills;
• Excellent
  verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability
  to think laterally and have good problem solving skills;
• A
  confident telephone manner that is clear and easy to understand;
• Knowledge
  of how to use a PC (windows operating system) and computer programs such
  as Word, Excel and Outlook;
• Understanding
  of Accounting Software such as Xero, MYOB and Practice Management Software
  is an advantage;
• CPA or
  CA qualifications an advantage but not essential;
• Contribute
  to the positive culture of the firm, and work well as a member of a
  dynamic team.
