Controller and will be responsible for maintaining all financial documentation and payroll management.
Specifically, ‘the Financial Controller’s role will be to:
• Analysis of Financial Needs and Situation of Company
• Advise strategic plans for Financial Management of the company
• Update the relevant books of accounts in the accounting system with details of the approved journal vouchers
• Compile financial information and prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
• Ensure the general ledger is up-to date and all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Prepare monthly management accounts and budget performance analysis reports
• Ensure accurate and timely booking of entries into the system
• Preparation of various reconciliation statements like Debitors, Creditors, Bank and Cash Etc…
• Prepare staff payroll and effect all statutory and compulsory deductions and their subsequent prompt remittance to the respective authorities.
Experience, skills and education required:
• A minimum of 5 to 7 years accounting experience in a good. corporate organization
• M.B.A (Finance & Marketing)
• Knowledge of accepted auditing and accounting practices and principles
• Knowledge and experience of accounting computer applications E.R.P Packages Like: Java, Oracle and S.A.P.
• Worked in pharmaceutical company in the past is an added advantage.
