• Immediate Requirement!
• Sydney Location!
• Leading Consultancy!

For close to 100 years, this recognised consulting / EPCM engineering firm has been at the forefront of delivering engineering excellence in the Australian market. With a current project portfolio that requires additional resources, there is an immediate need for an experienced mechanical/ piping design draftsperson to join the team on a contract basis. The Sydney office requires an experienced individual who can hit the ground running and apply their skills to ensure that the deliverables for the projects are met within the desired timeframe. A long term position is a definite possibility.

Expected critical competencies that you will possess include:
• CAD packages including Autocad, Autodesk Inventor, or PDMS (others will also be considered)
• Ability to thoroughly process P&ID’s (from schematics), survey drawings and piping/plant layouts
• Understanding of process plants in a petrochemical/heavy industrial/thermal sector, in particular, a familiarity with the concept and scope of pipe layouts, pipe racks, pipe supports, pipe bridges and positioning of valves, in relation to heat exchanges, pressure vessels, centrifuges, pumps, compressors etc
This close knit team is a high producing one with a strong focus on project delivery that can only come from working on major projects. Training, support and development are a key aspect for the low turnover within the group, and explain why these opportunities are so rarely available. Quite simply, this company is a genuine destination of choice, and really knows how to look after its employees. What is impressive is that there is very little to distinguish the internal relationships with contractors and permanent employees. You can really have the best of both worlds!

For more information on this opportunity, or other similar opportunities, please contact Jeffrey See on (03) 9094 0999 for a confidential discussion.

All applications are treated in the strictest of confidence, speculative enquiries are welcome.
